Gearboxes


These gearboxes are suitable for the transmission of rotating motions between two shafts at right-angles.

• Available with reduction ratios: 1:1 - 1:2 in reducing (standard) - 2:1 in multiplying (on request available in version A-B-C, not availabe in version D*)
• Aluminium case, anodised, stainless steel shafts AISI 303
• Torque 12 Nm
• Radial load 25 kg - axial load 2,5 kg

  Version B with 3 outputs  
  Version C 
with 3 ouputs with opposite rotation
  Version D with 3 outputs, 2 through hollow shafts
  Version E with 4 outputs 

• output shafts: M = male / F = female Ø10

The spiral (Fig. 2) gearboxes allow high precision, silent operation, and 30% increased output torque.

The ratio (Fig. 5-6) and configuration is determined by the n1 shaft always shown in the bottom of the drawing), the others shaft following  clockwise (Fig. 3-4).

 

     RADIAL AND AXIAL LOAD

      Fr = max 250 N radial load, is the load acting in perpendicular direction to the shaft/axise   

Fa  max 25 N axial load, is the load acting of the shaft/axis  

T = 12 Nm output torque

The loads acting on the shafts can be of two types, referred to the axis of the shaft (Fig. 7): : 
Fr - radial load 
Fa - axial load, when ordering specify whether the axial load is 'pull' or 'push' type. 
«The loads are generated by the items connected to the gearbox and can be created for example by the pull of belt drives, accelerations and decelerations, structural misalignments, vibrations, shocks, etc.» 

 COUPLING BUSHES 2 piece bushing to couple gearboxes and shafts.

 
Available bores Ø: 6 - 8 -10 -14.

Support units (with square flange) with o.ring, and ball-bearings.
• Available shafts Ø6Ø8Ø10Ø14Ø20.
They can be used severally on screws, female screws, shafts or can be combined with our gearboxes, flexible shafts, and our position indicators type “OP”.

The «GC» cardan joints used for the transmission of torque and movement of non-aligned elements.
Main features: universal application, high reliability, maintenance free, extremely precise and ease-of-use.  
• Case entirely machined from solid, in stainless steel AISI303.
• Sliding bushes in self-lubricating plastic material, suitable for intermittent (UI) and continuous movements (UC).
• Maximum working angle 45 °.
• Available bores: ø6 - ø8 (combinable with each other);  ø10 - ø14 (combinable with each other).
