FAP
Flexible transmission
These are flexible shafts employed for the transmission of rotating motions, made of a spring shaft and a protection sheath in versions FAP-1, FAP-2, FAP-3 and a protection rilsan-tube inversion FAP-4. Flexible shafts with free coupling terminals, in steel, as per drawing. They are built according to the required length (L).
Available versions:
FAP-1 • Shafts with diameterø4, ø5, ø6, ø8, ø10, ø12, ø15, ø20 • Protection sheath,with cylindrical terminals: FAP4-5-6-8 in steel covered with black rubber, FAP10-12-15-20 in zinc-plated steel aluminium-coloured.
FAP-2 • Shafts with diameter ø8 - ø10 - ø12 • Protection sheat, with threaded cylindrical terminals M22x1,5: FAP8in steel covered with black rubber, FAP10-12in zinc-plated steel aluminium-coloured.
FAP-3 • Shafts with diameter ø6 - ø10 • Protection sheath, with parallel terminals: FAP6 in steel covered with black rubber, FAP10 in zinc-plated steel aluminium-coloured.
FAP-4 • Shafts with diameterø4, ø5, ø6, ø8, ø10, ø12, ø15, ø20.

➤ The transmissions can be used in both directions of rotation, but turning in the opposite direction to the predetermined maximum transmissible torque decreases by 30% (ex. transmission DX with right rotation reaches a transmittable torque of 100%).
